Solubility	Sparingly soluble in water; practically insoluble in ethanol (96%)
Identification	As per test A, B and C of the B.P.
pH value of 1% w/v solution	Between 6.0 and 6.5
Heavy Metals	Not more than 20 PPM
Water	Between 8.0 and 9.5 % w/w
Assay (on anhydrous basis)	Between 98.5 and 100.5 % w/w

Shelf life: 5 years
Storage: Keep container tightly sealed. Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed containers.


Uses & Application For Piperazine Phosphate BP: It is used to effectively eliminate threadworms (pinworms) and roundworms from the bowel of children. It is also used for dogs and cats for the same.
