Carbomer is a polymers of acrylic acid cross-linked with alkenyl ethers of sugars or polyalcohols. High molecular weight macromolecules has high affinity towards water, alcohol, glycols & other solvents capable of hydrogen bonding.

Application of Carbomer 940 & 980
- Sparkling Clear Transparent gel with water or hydroalcoholic medium.
- Most efficient thickener among all grades.
- Excellent sparkling and crystal clear
transparency at high viscosity.
- Wide use in cosmetic & External Pharmaceutical preparations.

- Thick Formulation like Gel, Topical emulsions, like skin, hair & moisture Creams.
- Permanent Stability at high viscocity.
- Short Flow properties in aqueous systems like cosmetics & spray.
